...Cake. We're thinking about cake cutting songs. People we've talked with think it should somehow coordinate with cake (ex, "Suga suga...ohh honey honey...you are my candy girl..."). We were thinking of Jack Johnson's Better Together but that obviously has no cake reference. Curious what you are/did use for you cake cutting song

A lot of people on here say they're using "I Wanna Grow Old With You" from the wedding singer. We're using "When I'm 64." Sorry, no cake reference on either one.

We used Tom Petty Wildflowers, so no cake references. A lot of that song oddly describes how our relationship history went and plus it has a nice tune to it. It was more important to us that we used a song that had meaning to us with a couple than it going with the cake cutting theme.

We did NOT cut the cake. We didn't have a wedding cake at all. I don't really like cake cutting pictures. Plus, I can count on zero fingers how many times I remember a cake cutting at a wedding. We did, however, have cheesecake squares that we got from sam's. 63 squares for like...13.00 that we placed at everyone's seat.So what I'm saying here, is that I'm not helpful.

I never really thought about it, so at the last minute, I picked "Most Beautiful Girl In the Room" by Flight of the Conchords. It made my husband laugh out loud during the cake cutting.

I don't think the past few weddings I have been to had a song. Or I have no memory of it, which leads me to believe it doesn't matter that much so pick something you like.

We weren't bothering with a special song until we found an instrumental version of the Portal theme song. If you get it, it'll be hilarious. If you don't, it's just a song.

We didn't have a song for cutting the cake. It wasn't a choreographed event. Better together was our first dance song.,.. so i love it!
