I know I haven't been around lately.. but I need a good vent! Today was my bridal shower that my aunt threw me (same aunt I've posted about before). I have a ridiculously large family so I was expecting a lot of people to be there which made me a bit nervous. I've never been somewhere that everyone had all eyes on me for 2 hours.So... we are playing a lame shower game where everyone answers questions about me on a piece of paper and then they kinda shout out their answers and I tell them the correct answer. So in the middle of this my aunt and some of my 2nd cousins start talking about their childhood days and how they used to play dress up and whatever. Was this quiet and between the four of them? No.. they were so loud.. so everything stopped and all attention was directed at them. Do I care about the attention? No. But it was definitely weird. My mom & grandma were all like "well..this is weird".When I first got to the shower my aunt was telling me about a game we were going to play with a straw and a cotton ball (weird). AND I had a dress on and it involved being on the floor. So she jokingly asked me if I had a thong on and I said yes.... little did I know she was then going to announce to EVERYONE that I had at thong on. This was the first embarassing moment of the day. I immediately turned bright red & my eyes just kind of filled with water because that's just what happens when I get embarassed.SO THEN. we break off into teams and a family member (crazy family member) comes up to me and pulls the back of my dress up and says "WHAT KIND OF THONG DO YOU HAVE ON?!" And was trying to be funny... and well... it definitely wasn't. Only about three people saw but I was so f*cking embarassed. So I then went to the bathroom and just cried so no one would see me. My mom came in the bathroom and felt so bad & was embarassed for me.. but told me to blow it off and we were going to leave right after I opened gifts blah blah blah.I then went to open my gifts with my red eyes as everyone stared at me.Thank you for one of the worst days EVER! Vent over.
