not sure who to choose

So I went to three different florist. One is in Jupiter been in business many many years, does all kinds of floral, not just weddings (its a floral shop), JMorgan flowers, and Gil Sosa. All are quoting me right around the same price. Gil seems to be the cheapest before the $350 delivery charge. JMorgan the most expensive if I go with one option for the centerpieces but the same if I chose the other option. I love all their work and all have been extremely nice and helpful and now I am stuck deciding who to chose. I don't want to end up choosing one and then regretting not getting the other. Any advice? Maybe from some who have used any of them. TIA!

I have no experience with any of them but do you feel you "click" more with one than the others?  Who do you trust to carry out your vision? Who do you trust to make a good last minute design decision if you can't be bothered on the big day?

Well, JMorgan messed up GatorNicole's flowers and when she wrote her reviews, they complained to TheKnot to make her reviews go away (I think they threatened to stop advertising them or something).  But, I have her review listed in the review blog: http://sflweddingreviews.blogspot.com/search/label/J%20Morgan%20FlowersI would go with your shop or Gil.

I've seen the review mentioned above on wedding wire (J Morgan on WW: http://www.weddingwire.com/reviews/morgan-flowers-boca-raton/f67ffda8dff34fec.html)You can read J Morgan's reply to her complaint -- obviously there are two sides to the story and obviously I can't say who is in the wrong, so I'll leave it to you to read through the reviews.I personally met with Simply Flowers, Dalsimer, J Morgan, and I received a quote via email from Gil Sosa. Dalsimer I nixed almost immediately. J Morgan was my favorite but I wanted to look for some comparison quotes. Simply Flowers was nice, but it didn't quite click with them and the quote was pretty much the same as the others. Gil was a little non-responsive via email which I heard from other knotties, but when I did get his attention he seems very nice and knowledgable. I probably would have considered Gil more if there wasn't a $350 delivery fee to Jupiter. Good luck making your decision! This was literally the hardest decision I had to make and one of the last vendors that I signed.

I would not just listen to gatornicoles reviews. She complained about her venue, and plenty of other wedding things. She also complained about a lot through other knotties. That being said, I used JMorgan and my flowers were exceptional. I have no complaints. She was early, provided extra orchids that she had left over that I did not have to pay for (the purple orchids in addition to the lime green orchids) she left a member of her team to be with my flowers ALL DAY long to handle moving things around, make sure CP's and cake decorations, cocktail hour and she used the extra flowers for an added display for the sweetheart table, dj, & bar area were additionally decorated. My flowers were all in excellent condition, as well as the ribbon used to wrap the bouquets etc... I was told by several of my other vendors how professional she was day of, and the resort was very pleased with leaving her assistant to deal with the flowers in addition to their staff. In conclusion, you can see my pictures in the siggy pic or in the link provided below my siggy. My reviews are also on muddi's SoFl blog. & I will say, that in my entire 1 1/2 years on the knot, the previously mentioned negative review was the only negative review on our boards about JMorgan. There have been TONS of positive reviews. After my experiences and based off all but 1 of the reviews I have read you will be WELL taken care of with Jack. She is a doll, she connected really well with myself, FMIL, and H as well as vendors. I HIGHLY recommend her, 100%

personally, I am put off by any vendor who has the time or the inclination to come on here for months and pretend to be a bride. I would go with Gil.

"..the previously mentioned negative review was the only negative review on our boards about JMorgan."There have been some other negative reviews and experiences discussed on here. Some of those girls chose not to express it publicly or mention the vendor's name on the board (since she lurks) for fear of a backlash from the aforementioned florist. Those girls asked to be e-mailed for details. Very few actually came out and said who they had a negative experience with.Lacey - Is the $350 delivery charge from Gil because of the travel or is t usually that high? n the end, go with who you feel gets your vision the most. If you felt you clicked with someone, then go with your gut feeling.

That's so unfortunate that some people don't feel they can post their honest reviews - negative or positive - for fear of vendor lurking. I mean, hopefully once you've gotten past your wedding and all services have been completed, there shouldn't be a reason to hold back your honest opinion. I hope some of these girls are able to post their reviews somewhat anonymously on Wedding Wire or even on google. I find them to be so important when being pointed in the right direction of a vendor, whether or not it turns out that I agree with them.

I live in NY but getting married in Florida. I have emailed so many florists asking for a quote and have had such mixed experiences. Dalsimer never replied J Morgan called to book me in for a telephone consultation where she went in to a lot of detail emailed me a quote and images of the flowers she suggested and was very helpful creative and sweet. Gil Sosa never emailed me back but I was also put off by a review I read that the day before a brides wedding he was making things from an old contract and the boutonieres were wrong and that he doesnt give you a lot of his time until a week before your wedding. Petal production I have a consultation booked for when I am in town. A friend used them and was very happy although I hear that they are expensive. Petal design emailed me few prices but felt like they didnt need my business. Kreative florals never replied And one said they wouldn't give me prices until they met me! I think we all have different experiences with vendors and some you click with and some you dont just like friends! I am going to set up a few appointments for when I come home in a few weeks all suggestions welcome!

Thanks everyone for replying back, all the replies help. My 1st meeting with the lady in Jupiter was great, she took the time from what she was doing after I just walked in and helped me for like 30 mins. I found that to be great, and she said when I have ideas of what I want to come back and in which I did and it went great, my mom and FI loved her and in fact I was able to see a wedding she did this past weekend. I feel like leaning towards her but then I don't want to regret it b/c my meeting with JMorgan went fantastic as well, and when I had a phone consult with them months ago before actually meeting I have impressed with all the detailed info and questions we spoke about. So I do feel torn between the two and she does a lot of work at my reception place. When I first contacted Gil it took a while to get ahold of him, but I finally did. We were suppose to meet up while I was home, but he never made it to PBC, and I couldn't drive to Miami at the time, so he did a quote for me through email. Although he did email me back within like 5 days after I sent him pics and info of what I was looking for. I just got turned off of the $350 delivery charge and Miami really isnt that far from Palm Beach Gardens to be charging that amount. Also when I saw what he quoted me he did stay within my budget but he did add other things that I didn't mention or needed (which made it go outside my budget) they were his recommendations. He also put different flowers I never even mentioned wanting so it made me wonder if he even saw what I said about which flowers I wanted. As for Dalsimers, I emailed them and got an auto email stating they would get in contact with me in 24 hours well 4 days later still nothing and I email them and they said through their phone they were out on vacay and would be back tomorrow (Tuesday) and then they will return my emails. So I thought that was a bit unprofessional of taking forever to email someone back. Although my event coordinator recommended them stating that they do lots of weddings at Frenchman's and a lot of other events there too. So I am going to see what they offer me too. I just hope I make the right decision of who I want and not regret. Sorry so long!
