Nail salon recs?

I am looking for a place for my mom and I to get a mani/pedi before the wedding. We'll be staying in Oakland so something fairly close is preferred, but we're willing to travel a little bit (just not really far away). I never got my nails done in college so I have no idea, so any recommendations would be helpful! TIA.

S&T Nails is right in Oakland. I think it's on Meyran between 5th & Forbes.That's where I went all through college and where my BMs & I are going to on Friday for our mani/pedis. Manis are $10 Pedis $25HTH!

Ditto Nuelsi. I used to get my nails done there when I lived in the city.

I'm a big fan of D & M nails in sq hill - they are a little further, but much less busy than the college salon, and more spacious. Prices are the same though! I've been to both and had good service at each.
