I had never even thought about how to tip our reception venue until I saw a post earlier today. Our reception venue is catering the food, and they're providing the servers and bartenders. I saw somewhere about tipping 15%, but our bill comes to around $6,000 for the food and that's an extra $900 I hadn't thought about. I plan to tip the twp bartenders, but I don't know how to go about tipping for anyone else. My contract does state that the $1,000 "administrative fee" is not intended to be a tip (what even is an administrative fee anyway?)
