Hi Jaime beth-I have a question for you about your candy buffet. Your's was so perfect I've been using the picture to duplicate it. If you could help me answer these question sthat would be great:1. how many guests did the candy buffet feed?2. How many lbs of candy did you get?3. Where did you get your candy from?4. how much did your candy cost?I'm asking because I'm thinking of not doing it after all because of the costs. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the compliment.  We were very pleased with it and our guests really liked it as well. We had around 120 guests, but we had a lot of leftover candy.  In my opinion, the key to a good candy buffet is quantity.  You don't want the last person in line not to get the same amount as the first person! We had almost a pound for each guest.  Now that doesn't mean we had that much of each candy type.  We just kind of judged it based on weight of candy as well.  Certainly a pound didn't fit into our take out containers. We got it locally - BJ's, Target & Walmart and I did buy stuff after the various holidays when it was on clearance.  Then I freaked out the week of the wedding and went out and bought a ton more.  I didn't order any online. It was expensive.  Probably $500 in just candy.  Now we admit, we did go quite overboard and had PLENTY leftover.
