Brooches, fascinators and shorties, OH MY!What real or inspired vintage accessory (or accessories) are you incorporating into your big day?  Do any websites inspire you?  Please share!I'll start.  My newest idea involves short satin gloves, or "shorties".  It used to not only be fashionable, but modest for a woman to have her hands covered when out in public, but gloves have unfortunately gone out of style.  I'm crazy for them, though.  I'd love to have a gown like the Carolina Herrera dress inspired by Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, with navy satin around my neck, and matching little navy satin shorties.here's my inspiration and photoshop attempt at my vision.[img]http://i27.tinypic.com/2zybq8g.jpg[/img][IMG]http://i27.tinypic.com/kbbw5k.jpg[/IMG]

    I'll be wearing a cameo my grandmother left me (don't have a pic... never seem to have the cameo and camera in the same place) and the beautiful fascinator in my bio!  I love your gloves Nukke!

    Love it!  I don't know what I am going to incoporate yet. My boss at the bead store (2nd job) is going to make my jewelry--she makes an awesome line.  Looks old with antiqued silver chain.  She uses Swarovski crystal to make different flowers.  I will have to post a pic sometime of the earrings I have. She let me borrow a couple pieces when I went to try on dresses---stunning!

    My Grandmother had the most fabulous wedding in 1957! She and her maids all wore shorties too. I have to scan one of her wedding pictures. I really really wish I could have worn her gown. She had an 18 inch waist.... and mine is 28 lol. I'm borrowing her shoe clips that were left to her by my Great Aunt from the early 1940's and also a large circular rhinestone brooch I'm putting in my hair.     i loove that photoshopped picture in your post! that looks great! i haven't decided yet-i'm going home to Ny at the end of september and I hope to start dress shopping and really getting into looking for accessories and stuff with my mom who lives there.

    I'm planning on wearing seamed stockings and a sexy vintage girdle (PIB).  I haven't decided on jewelry yet, I don't know if I should go simple with some pearl earrings and necklace or if I should find something with a little more sparkle. PIB of dress and stuff, any suggestions would be wonderful.

    I haven't bought it yet, but I found it on http://www.girdlebound.com/I'm totally in love with it, I think it's sexy. And it will have duel purpose, sexy for the night of and hold in the gut.
