3 ring bearers, no flower girls...?

Any recommendations on some fun, cute, ideas to make this work would be greatly appreciated...Between my fiance and I, we have 3 nephews, all of which we want to be in the wedding (ages 5, 4, & 3), yet we have no little girls that we can use as a flower girl.  I am okay with not having the flower girl, but would like to figure out how to make it work with 3 little boys.  Has anyone had this happen before?  Please advise on how we can make this work. Thanks!!

  • I like that idea...thanks!!!
  • Just have the 3 boys walk in together looking cute. There is no reason for fgs and kids in weddings main role is to be adorable. They will do fine
  • Actually, it's pretty rare that little kid ring bearers actually carry the rings. Your BM and/or MOH can do that for you.I'd just have them walk in during the processional and then going to sit with mom and dad or another adult during the ceremony.  Then they can recess out with the WP.  That way you're not worried about them getting fidgety during the ceremony, but you have the cute factor during processional/recessional and for some sweet photos.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • I actuallly heard of a wedding where they didn't have a flowergirl, they had a "top hat boy". He carried a top hat filled with flower petals and dropped them like the flowergirl. On the recessional, he wore the hat
  • If you want 3 boys in the ceremony perhaps you can have 2 ringbearers (1 for each of you) and then the 3rd could be a bell ringer who rings a handbell before you walk down the isle.Just a thought!
