Hostess Gift

We are having our ceremony and reception at my FMIL's friend's estate and she has kindly offered this for free. I would like to get her and her husband a nice gift but have no ideas. What do you girls think would be a decent gift?

    I would look around the estate and see if there are any obvious collections. I was wondering the same thing for my officiant, and when I was in his home last, I saw that he collects Kachina dolls. FI and I struck up a conversation about them, and we were able to find out which artist they like and even which doll they were wanting to buy next. People have all sorts of collections: wines, crystal figurines, books, Chinese tapestry, etc.
