shower thank you note question

I know this might seem like a dumb question, but my brain is alread fried. I'm starting to write out my thank you notes from my shower and was wondering if I should sign both our names or just mine. A lot of the cards were written to both of us. Just wondering what people did for their TY noted. TIA

    I havent had a shower yet so Im not sure what I will be doing but the TY cards I received from ones I have attended have been from both.  HTH

    I believe I just signed my name.  For the wedding I signed both of ours.

    i signed both names - i figured the gifts are technically for BOTH of us, so we should both thank.

    I looked this up before online and if it is just your shower, you should sign your name.  If it is a co-ed shower then you should sign both names.

    Just yours.  It is your shower-- not your husband's.  At any rate, technically a thank you note should not be from both people because only one person wrote it.  It should be "Thank you for the gift.  John and I will really enjoy using it.  Love, Jane."  Very, very few people follow that rule for weddings, but really I think shower thank yous should be from just you.

    Thanks ladies. Dana-I was thinking the same thing about the gifts being for both of us. I'll prob just sign both our names too.
