Shower Locations North PGH

Hi Girls! I am planning a shower for a friend in May. Unfortunately, the only other shower I've been at was my own and am in need of ideas!

Do any of you have suggestions of locations in the North Hills/North Pittsburgh area that would:
-Allow for us to bring our own food OR
-Is around $10 a person

TIA!

Hmm so not sure on cost of these but i know Monte Cello's has a private room (on babcock) as does Silvioni's. I think some Atria's could handle showers. North Park clubhouse and another option is Willow which i love - but I def think it will be out of your $10 range

What time of year will the shower be? Any chance you could rent a pavillion at North Park?

Also, a friend had her shower (in the summer) at McFadden's and it was held outside on the back patio there which was really cool!

Hey duq!  My shower is going to be at Walnut Grove in Cranberry-- I think with the menu they chose, it's $13/person or somewhere around there.  Let me know-- I can send you the file with the info they sent us, if you want.

Hey!  Other suggestions for the North Hills:
-Grazie - part of Oxford Athletic Club, but you don't have to be a member to eat here
-Bravo's - Cranberry location has a nice back room and lots of different menu options
-Bella Frutteto - not sure, they may offer it, and they are delicious!
-Blueberry Park - you can rent their "cabin" and the upstairs is quite nice, here you can bring your own food or have it catered
-North Park - someone already mentioned this, but they have an enclosed small cabin by the intersection of Ingomar & Babcock

    Also, duqcheer, you have PM

    Good luck!

Hi Meg!  How's married life treating you?  Not sure about prices, but we had my shower at Highland Country Club, and it turned out to be very nice and not too stuffy (what I was afraid of).  I was also going to recommend Grazie.  I've never been there, but I've heard nothing but good things, and I know one of the guys who either owns or runs it (we went to hs together).  This may be not quite what you're looking for, but the Hampton Township Community Center has a beautiful community room.  My church holds their basket party fundraiser every year.  We considered it for my shower, but my mom did not want to go with an outside caterer - they have a kitchen, but not onsite people.  Also, The Babock (think it's called The New Babcok now) on Babcock Blvd. is nice.  We looked there also, but they didn't have my date available.  The Meyerink Center in Avonworth Park is pretty, but I don't know what their catering policy is.  Of course, I'm partial to The Chadwick for all things wedding related!  Let me know if you have any questions or need any other suggestions.  Hope you're well!

I had my shower at max's Tavern on the north side.  They have a beautiful Victorian room upstairs for parties so we had it there.  Their luncheon prices range from $8-$18.  I think ours was $12/person and it was really nice.

HI! Just wanted to include my 2 cents...

My shower will be at Evergreen community park (it is very nice because you have the choice of indoor or outdoor, and a fully equiped kitchen) ~ This is booked through Ross Community (also a nice place to have a shower) Both are somewhat close to Ross Park Mall (for those not from the NH)

My venue also hosts showers (not sure of the price) ~ Twelve Oaks Manision in Mars.

Atria's is nice, but slightly pricy (imo for what you get)

    Best of luck!
