Hello everyone,
I know there's been a post here recently about RSVP dates and the date for sending out invitations, but would you mind to post yours again? We're hoping to print invitations this weekend, and I almost forgot to add the RSVP date! Our wedding date is May 26th. :-)
Btw, is an RSVP date standard for wedding invitations? I mentioned the date idea to FI and he was skeptical.....I'm still pretty sure it is, but I just wanted to check to see. :-) Thanks so much!

Wedding Date: May 12th
RSVP Date: April 21st
*Not quite sure when invites will go out. Probably right around the 7-8 week mark!
RSVP Date: May 1
Invitations being sent: Before March 15
Yes the RSVP date is standard. Otherwise you might have guests that never send it back or send it late. Then that can mess up your counting with food and everything else.
RSVP Date: May 5 (tentative)
Invitations being sent out: Mid-March
RSVP Date: April 19th - I wanted more than enough time to track people down, and to order our "day of" paper items - our caterer needs a minimum headcount by May 5th
Mailing Invitations: March 8th - 6 weeks before the RSVP date

Same!
Mailing out: 2nd week of March
RSVP date: April 23rd (venue needs two weeks notice of final headcount, this gives an extra week for those "lost in the mail")
Yes, RSVP is standard, if you didn't have a date, people wouldn't respond in time or not at all and then you wouldn't know how many people to feed.
Wedding: May12th
