What kind of Wedding band do you want?

Taking from Hinaj e ring thread....What kind of wedding band do you want?
Do you want your band to fit around your e ring.  Do you want lots of bling ;)
Are you and your hubby to be getting matching ones?  Are you getting them engraved?

Add pictures!

I probably have the weirdest/boring-est taste in wedding bands.  I like the plain wedding bands.  Just a smooth white gold band...not sure if I like the 2mm or 6mm widths lol

Here's a pic...take away the engravings, and the diamonds all the way around (maybe 1/2 way?)...and make it round edged LOL

Ours won't match because they're custom designed for our personalities. Here's his - Leo symbol fo rhis zodiac, snakes in the infinity loop, and his favorite stones:

And a concept sketch for mine - elephant ring guard with emeralds to go with my tourmaline e-ring:

I designed both. We have an Etsy seller lined up to make mine. His needs some adjustment - the original caster made it too thick so it needs to be fixed. We won't be able to engrave them; mine doesn't have anywhere to engrave, and his doesn't have enough space because of where the stones are set.

Mine is probably more boring! I got it from www.bluenile.com (which I highly recommend). It's a white gold comfort-fit wedding band, 3 mm. I was debating between that and a channel set ring, but ultimately decided on the plain one because I don't really wear or like jewelry. I don't have an e-ring either, I asked him not to get one. Yes, I'm a weirdo! But I think the plain bands are classic and elegant.

Kavita, I like your band! I think I will get something similiar!

Hisbeloved: you are so creative! I love that your rings are a true reflection of your personalities and are unique to you and your FI.

Aw, thanks raangoli! It would look good on its own or complement a solitaire e-ring well.

And I agree; HisBeloved, you have the most creative ideas!

    Thanks, ladies:)

It was important to us that we had rings that we really loved and that were really US, since we have to wear them every day. We're happy with them:)

Bhanu & Anuj, That's a really great band.

Beloved, That is really a cute ring.  Very creative and unique.

    Below is mine and FI.

This is the wedding band for the E-ring, but we are going to get 2 bands for either side and solder them together.

I want something like this for FI,

but he really likes this one from blue nile....

He really wants a simple one. No stone, no nothing. Just a plain, platinum or white gold band. It's cute...he just wants the girl, but he's happy to partake in bling-age.

Kavita....I like yours - I would want something like that...comfort band, but a thicker width (5mm-6mm)....with a tiny bit of bling-age as Sonali coined :D

Bhanu, it is really comfortable. I am not used to wearing rings and I love it.

Trueleo, my FI insisted on titanium, but ultimately settled on tungsten as it is fairly scratch-resistant and he is very clumsy. He loves it and it was pretty inexpensive, too!

I asked if he wanted Tungsten but he denied. I told him that titanium will scratch and he said "I can take care of my ring. Its only going to be in two places. either on my finger or on the nightstand" so i gave in.
