I am thinking about a December wedding...yes, this December!  Friday December 5th actually.  Do you all think its too close to Christmas??

    Nope, not too close!  I think a short planning time is a good thing, just make your decisions and go.  No time to second guess, less time for drama.  Go for it!

    My sister got married on December 29th, talk about close to Christmas! It was beautiful, the church was decorated for the holiday and it was a formal evening event. I think it's a great idea! Just be prepared that weather may not cooperate...which is funny because my wedding is in April and I'm thinking the same thing!

    I think that is a great time! In fact, if you have a lot of out of town guests, they actually might want to be here in Christmas, don't feel like you have to do you wedding early. Choose the day YOU want, and the people who truly care will show up regardless! GL!

    I'm getting married a week after the 5th on Saturday December 12th!  So no I don't think it is too close to Christmas :)

    No, it's not too close. A December wedding will be beautiful. If you haven't gotten your dress altered yet, call Cathy at (719) 433-4877. She is in Colorado Springs, and does excellent work.
