I'm new here so I apologize if this has been asked before. Who are you having stand with you at the Chupah? Are both sets of parents standing up there? Is your entire wedding party standing alongside you and your fiancé? I was raised Conservative but part of my family is Orthodox so I have only ever been to an Orthodox Jewish wedding. I'm not sure what should be done in a Conservative wedding. Our Rabbi said we could do "as little or as much" as we want. I don't want to completely defy Jewish tradition but there are still some traditional wedding elements that I want to remain...
