Cascade Hamden?

Hi! My fiance and I are interested in having our wedding reception at Cascade in Hamden. Does anyone have any thoughts on it? Has anyone gotten married there recently or have any experiences with them. I appreciate any input!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE Cascades! That is our venue! I cannot say enough good things about them! Aside from the fact that it is beautiful--they were so accomidating to our every little need! Anything that we wanted or asked for was taken care of! I highly suggest using them--ask for Domenic--he is great!

    I am having my wedding there on january 2, 2010. I definately agree with pp that it is absolutely beautiful and that they are wonderful to work with. They were also very flexible with prices for us. It might be because we are a winter wedding, but its definately something to try. However, the prices are great to begin with, and would have paid the prices regardless. i think the thing that i loved most was the giant ballroom--it looks so elegant. The staircases and chandaliers definately made me feel like it was the wedding that i wanted. if you have any specific questions, you can email me: melkobocker at gmail dot com

    AMAZING! We are having out reception their july 2010. I can not find one thing wrong with it. There are chandeliers every where you turn, wonderful places to take pictures, the grounds are well kept. They are also great to work with. We are living in NC right now and had a short time to visit and book some where. When I called to make an appointment they were so understanding of our situation and got us in right away! One thing that I LOVE is there is NO carpet in the ball room or the cocktail room. They polish the hard wood at least 2 times a year so they always look amazing. It is everything that we had wanted in a venue.

    Isn't that awesome about the floor--I think that is so key! Love the chandeliers (sp?) as well! The bridal suites are one of my favorite parts too!
