Hi,My fiance and I are planning on going to Tahiti and Bora Bora for our honeymoon.  Wanted to know if anyone has been there and used a travel agent to book the trip.  I would love recommendations for a good travel agent. Thanks

Re: Tahiti Travel Agent

  • Yay some more Tahitian honeymooners! Our trip is Sept 25 to Oct 3, and we used Frosch International Travel, Sue was our agent. She was very easy to communicate with, here is her email addy: Sue Waymire (sue.waymire@frosch.com)Good luck!
  • oops here's the rest of her info:Sue Waymire, CTCFROSCHsue.waymire@frosch.com713-590-8257(800)866-1623 x8257 - toll free 713-850-0027 - faxwww.frosch.com
  • Our friends are working with the TA we booked our honeymoon with, for their honeymoon to Tahiti. They tell me she's been awesome (which we knew!). They've done 5 different itineraries until they finally settled on the perfect trip. She's very happy with them.  www.thetropicaltravelers.com. And I can tell you that we had a great experience working with them.
  • I just came back in July from my FP honeymoon. Feel free to ask me any questions. I can't really recommend an agent since I put together my entire itinerary. It's SO gorgeous there, enjoy!
  • melissa - I just checked out her blog. Thanks for posting that. We're staying at the Four Seasons, and she really got some great pictures of it. Only 3 more months away... :)
  • hi, we are so so excited we leave for tahiti on the 14th of Sept! Yahoo! We also used Lisa Jones at SB travel Amex. She's been really responsive and helpful! I'll pop in to let you know how everything went. We had so many scenarios for our honeymoon, it was hard to decide. (seems like everything for the wedding & reception was hard to decide too, if I'd known this we would have probably eloped haha!). We changed the itinerary so many times, trying to save $, We finally picked the Hilton in Moorea garden bungalow, the Intercontinental Le Moana in Bora Bora overwater. We got a free night and breakfast in Bora Bora and because they are working on the garden bungalows at Hilton we just got a free upgrade to overwater (and also a free night with a credit at the resort!) Anyway, sorry to ramble on and on, bottom line our experience with Lisa was great. I have been pretty stressed with all the final preps at the winery for the wedding, so it's been nice not to have to worry about the honeymoon. good luck! best, linda
  • Thanks so much for the advice, I think I will check with more than one travel agent and try to find the best deal.  Did anyone go to another island besides Morea and Bora Bora  like Rangiroa or Taha'a?
  • A coworker also went to Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa and she raves. We met a couple in Bora Bora who came from there and said it was really romantic but completely empty!
  • I highly reccomend Rose she's awesome to work withand very knowlegeable, her contact is:Speedway_roseg@optonline.net
