Check: Pre-Cana....Question about other class

So my fi and I just finished pre-cana.  Does anyone know if God's Plan for a Joyfilled Marriage is required?  Our priest didn't mention it but someone at pre-cana told us it was.

I couldn't tell you the day that I fell in love...but fall I did...head over heels in fact...Can't wait until I marry the love of my life.

It was not required for us. Best to check with your priest.

Depends on the diocese. I believe in Phoenix it is required.

Whether its required or not, it is an amazing program and it would be great to do it.

Yep! It is definitely required in Phoenix (and all of Northern Arizona that is in the Diocese). :) I think it is required in a few other places, too! Talk to your priest, as these things vary by diocese and parish.

The answer would be to check with your priest.

But I did go to it.  I found it an amazing program.  If you have it, I strongly encourage it.  It will teach you so much and you and your FI will be very moved by it to love each other better and better.

Definitely depends on the diocese... it's required in certain places in NJ, for instance, but my friends in Chicago had never heard of it.
