Reception Questions

Have any of you been hit with charges you didn't expect from your reception site?  Can you give me some ideas of what to ask that you may have missed or been suprised by?MarcyJ

    I forgot to ask about cake cutting fees.  My venue charges $1.75 per person just to cut the cake.

    Cake cutting is a good one! Service fees, taxes, gratuity, cleaning fees.

    Parking or entrance fee (if it has it). We attended a friend's wedding few years back only to find out as we were leaving we all had to pay for parking. Bride was soooo upset assumed it was included but all of us guests got a good laugh most of us just pooled money and best man stood at gate paying as guests went through lol
