When should I do my registry?

Yesterday I went to a family party and everyone was asking if we had done are registry yet.  I thought it was to soon, so I guess probably not.. Have u done yours yet if so where?I was thinking Macys and my second choice is between Bed Bath & beyond or Target..Btw thought I would share today makes the 200 mark of how many days left for the BIG day!! wwwooohhhhooo =)

    I think it's not a bad idea to do one soon... because that way if people want to get your engagement gifts or something they can. I finally did one when I started getting those questions.. What's amusing is that then none of those people got anything off the registry so I was like HUH?BUT I did mine about 7 months out... just be sure to keep an eye on it as things sometimes go out of stock etc... so you may have to update it often....

    I think at 6 months it's safe to say you can do it. We're a year out and going to do it tomorrow. Mainly because we're sending out our STDs soon and I want out website to have all the registery info. We're doing Crate and Barrel and Macys. OH the excitement!

    we did ours at the beginning of the summer and believe it or not we have to go tonight to update everything - because of the seasons so much stuff is out of stock macys and crate and barrel... hth

    I did mine WAY early... I have had to update a few things, nothing major (phew!) I am registered at Target, BBB AND Macys, lol

    I did mine about 11 months out b/c family kept asking. I did have to go back and re-register at c&b b/c a lot of stuff was no longer available but I did not mind - it was twice the fun :)

    I did mine 7-8 months out. I used Amazon Wedding Registry bc you can add items from every store imaginable, so you're not limited to just 1 or 2 registries -- I have things from BBB, C&B, Williams Sonoma, Target, Amazon, Macys, Bose, Tempur Pedic, etc...
