Specialty cake?

I am looking to have a different type of cake.....I have seen a few of the local vendors (local to San Jose, CA) and I am not impressed with their work.Here is what I want.....not traditional I know, but it is "us"....anyone know of a bakery No further North than Danville, No further South than Morgan Hill, No further west than Livermorehttp://tinyurl.com/ktz3ykhttp://tinyurl.com/nh77ra

    Correction - no further EAST than livermore.

    The only thing that pops in my head that does work along those lines is Just Cake in Monterey. The designer has been on the Food Network's Challenge shows numerous times and she does some great work. I know it is farther south than you wanted, but might be worth looking into. HTH
