Program count question

Hey ladies, I read that some are planning for providing programs for 50% of their guests (one per couple). What are everyone's thoughts on this percentage. For those who have already had their ceremonies, how many programs did you provide relative to the number of guests you had. TIA!

I printed 100 programs (because I printed my own and they came in packages of 50).  We had 85 guests, and I probably have 40 of them left.  So I'd say half to 2/3 of your guest count is a good number to go by.

I was thinking about doing 70% of my guests...don't know what the "norm" is but I figured it was fine if we had extras (for a scrapbook, give to my grandparents who can't attend, etc)
no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!

I would say any where from 60-70% of your guest count is a good figure, unless you plan on having them already on the seats, or handed out to everyone.

Thanks for the responses. I think the 60-70% mark sounds about right. I figured I keep a few at home just in case for scrapbook and grandparents too,

I'm not making programs. My ceremony won't be that long so I don't really see the need to go to the expense. If I were going to have them I'd probably go to 60% of my guest total.
