Nails

Did you or are you getting your nails done for your wedding? Mine are super short and I never have polish on them...but it seems like somewhat of a tradition for a bride to get her nails done for her wedding. Does anyone have any salon recommendations? I'm thinking of acrylic or gel nails, with the french manicure look. But, I want them to look NATURAL. Suggestions? Anyone with pics?

If you are looking for something natural try Shellac. It's your nail just a stronger poilish that last much longer than regular polish. If you're looking for a salon it's helpful to post the area you're looking for

Try going to Nailory on Manheim Pike in Lancaster. I go there for french manicures. Tell them you want them to look natural. They can steer you in the right direction. They can make the white part of the french manicure more subtle so they don't look so bright white and fake. They also have gels which are popular but they don't do those in french manicures. They do have nice color shades though.
If you don't normally get your nails done (acrylics) I would suggest getting just a nice manicure/paint on your wedding day morning. Acrylics are hard to work with if you're not use to them. I stopped using them because they made my nails so brittle.

Another place I have heard people rave about is Universal Nails in Mount Joy.

Serenity Spa at Heritage Hills Hotel in York, I do hair and nails there :) I don't know if it would be out of the way for you but we have Gelish. It is a gel based nail polish for natural nails just like the shelac but we have over 60 colors as to where the shelac has less and we can do a french with it. We tried both the shelac by creative and axium by opi and we found we liked the Gelish better for a few reasons. The upside to Gel based polishes is they are completely dry before the end of the manicure, they last you for at least two weeks even for those of us who are hard on our nails, and they don't harm your natural nail like acrylics and gel tips. Don't get your nails done the day of your wedding you have enough other things to worry about that day and if you go with a gel based polish you can get them done 3-4 days before the wedding and not have to worry about them.
I hope some of this was a little helpful!
