Lafayette, IN Venues!

Hello All!I need advice! My fiance and I are planning to get married in Lafayette this December and we are running out of venue Ideas! If you have any suggestions or pictures :) We'd greatly appreciate them. We're looking for ceremony and/or reception.Also has anyone ever used connexion christian ministries as a venue???Thanks for any advice/suggestions!Gabrelle

    If you are looking for churches there are a lot around Purdue's campus. A quick google search gives you lots of choices. You can also use the Rose-Ade stadium, they have gorgeous events, if you are looking for something different. Purdue's ballroom does wedding receptions. Lafayette Elks Country Club might be able to hold receptions, I'm not sure. The Hilton and Holiday Inn near downtown Lafayette have halls. There is a community hall on Ferry Street. I think it is called Duncan Thomas, or Thomas Duncan. I would contact the other hotels in the area to see if they have ballrooms as well. HTH

    As for reception, the Trails Banquet Facility has several rooms you can use that are very pretty. Churches, as pp said, are spread everywhere through Lafayette/West Lafayette. Most of the bigger hotels have a ballroom or two within them, and the Lafayette Theater downtown books wedding receptions all the time. If I remember anything else, I'll let ya know!

    I second the Trails- very pretty.  No clue on churches, sorry.

    I can personally vouch for RossAde stadium. That's where I'll be married!  Ditto pps suggestions too. They were all venues I looked at, especially Duncan Hall.  There's also Big Four Depot which rents for really cheap because it's part of Parks & Rec.
