Hire musicians for cocktail hour. Check!

I'm so excited about the jazz trio that we hired to play during cocktail hour!  And because we're doing pics before the ceremony, we should be able to enjoy most of cocktail hour.Anyone else doing live music for part of the wedding festivities and recorded music (DJ/iPod) for the rest?

    Congrats, who did you hire? I have a trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour, DJ for the reception. My fav part of my trio is they mix up their instruments so for the cocktail hour they can play more jazz style music instead of the typical classical string.

    The Foster Oden Trio will be entertaining us during cocktail hour. They play at 98 South in Chandler on Saturday nights, and we really enjoy them. Who did you hire, and how did you find them?

    We hired Nuance. When I lived in Phoenix I worked as a Catering Sales Manager at one of the resorts (I got out of the hospitality industry when we moved to Vegas). and they played a wedding that I did there and I loved them! I really enjoyed that they were able to mix up their instuments and play different styles of music. It is great that you were able to book someone that you have actual seen and enjoyed in person, not many people are able to do that and just have to take someone elses opionon!
