Guestbok Ideas....

In lieu of having a real photo booth that may cost up to $700 I thought about having a table with those mini polaroid cameras and a book where guests can paste their pic in with a mesage.  Has anyone used those? If so how did the pictures come out.

Thanks,
Naiia

Re: Guestbok Ideas....

  • My sister did this, but asked one of our younger cousins to man the camera for the first hour or so (that way people don't have to do the awkward self-portrait, wasting film on re-dos).   I don't normally advocate puting family members to work at your wedding, but our cousin was desperate to be included, and loves photography, so it worked.  And it was only for a limmited time during the cocktail hour (she was too young to drink anyway).

I think the pictures came out okay....but polaroid film is REALLY expensive.  The nice thing about photo booths is that the guests can keep the photo as a favor as well.  If you intend to do this, then you'll need twice as much film.

Thats the reason I initially wanted to do the photo booth to let the guests keep their own copy and have someone (not family) man the station.  Thanks for answering!
