Letts vs. Fantastic Finds?

Hi Ladies - Another question which do you suggest for bmaids dresses...again I will only be in town for a few days so if I can narrow it down to one it would be great...I have already done some looking online but want to see some in person. Thanks!!

    They both have a pretty decent selection of bridesmaids dresses. Fantastic Finds is a bit more pricey and they have an associate sorta follow you around while you look. Letts you can just go browse on your own.Becker's Bridal in Fowler also has a huge selection and it's a great place to go to.

    I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from Fantastic Finds. I worked directly with Kim Dubay. She is extremely knowledgable about the dresses and designers, and she is very  nice. However, if you get dresses there, I would recommend NOT getting alterations there. Every one of my bridesmaids dresses was altered wrong, and they had to pay anywhere from $50.00 - $150.00 for the corrections. YIKES!

    Sorry I'm a little late but I would totally recommend Fantastic Finds. I worked with Donna H and she was amazing. I hugged her before leaving, she really made all my wedding attire dreams com true. Sheasked my budget and came in about $100 under it!!! As far as alts, I didn't have them done there just because of the price. I used Silver Thread Tailor Shop (about  mile away from the store). GL!

    I have never been to Letts, but I had the worst wedding dress shopping experience there out of all of my experiences. The lady I worked with was very pushy, you can not take pictures and a lady has to help the girls in and out of the dresses (made me very uncomfortable), which I know I need help but come on why can't my mom or someone I know help me. The lady also kept listening to our conversation and outting in her two cents. Anyways, I'm sorry i went off on a rant. And I know thay are petty things I am bitching over but you should never be sad or feel forced when trying on wedding dresses.

    I know I may be too late for this to be worth anything, but FWIW: I went to Lett's one time and found a dress that I liked, but didn't LOVE. I called to ask them to pull the dress so that I could try it on again and was told that they already had a work order written up for me to purchase the dress. I was extremely put off and never went back. I must have went to Fantastic Finds at least 4 times before finding my dress and I never felt rushed or pushed. I worked with Kim Dubay and Michelle Knight - neither of them ever followed me when I was picking out dresses - and they were both SO nice. If you ask for discounts, you may get them - I asked and was told that their prices were being undercut by their competitors so they now price all of them at MSRP but I still got a free veil out of the deal and my bridesmaids get 10% off because I got my dress there. To me, the service was well worth the small price difference. Having said that, Lett's has a bigger selection but Fantastic Finds carries a lot of private collection dresses that you can't get elsewhere.

    I would go to Becker's Bridal in Fowler. Its only about 15mins away from Lansing. Huge selection and very helpful

    I loooooooooooved my experience at Fantastic Finds. I can't say it enough. I must have tried on 20 dresses before finding one that I loved and the lady was never annoyed or pushy. She was so sweet and patient it was amazing. Then....even after all that....I still looked around and went to Lett's. THey were SO PUSHY and unhelpful. When I was trying to leave the store one of the associates made me stand there for 15 minutes trying to "talk me into" the dress. They wouldnt let me leave!!! I went back and forth to Fantastic Finds several times before I made my decision and they were never pushy or forceful. I loved my expeience with them. My dress was pricier than the ones at Lett's bridal....but well worth it
