Archway/ Chuppah Rental

I am thinking about going with a florist that does not offer archway/ chuppah rentals. I called around and can not find any florists that offer these rentals unless you use their services. Anyone have any reasonably priced recommendations?

I'm not sure if the big rental companies have these, but it would be worth checking out. Also, Tommy Wholesale has arches and chuppahs, but they only work with wedding professionals, so the wedding coordinator at your venue would have to call them.

We bought one from a florist who was retiring.  We are going to either sell or rent it after July 31, 2010.  Let me know if you are interested!  Its all wood and the top peice has a frame so the fabric doesn't sag.

I think that our florist will rent it without using them for the rest of your flowers.  But it's pricy. But for me, it was worth the price.  You spend so much money as it is, when you put it all into perspective, you'll be standing under your Chuppah for the ceremony and all your ceremony pics will include it.

I LOVED our chuppah - there are pics in my married bio.

We used Carole at Designing Images in Randolph.

We rented ours from Kolbo, a Judaica shop in Brookline.  It was relatively cheap (under $100) for 4 wooden poles and a plain ivory prayer shawl to go on top.  They also have more elaborate cloths for the top for a higher rental fee.  But, you either have to have people hold the poles, or find some other way to secure the poles.  Our florist used urns and filled them with flowers to hold the poles in place, and we loved how it all turned out.
