Granada Restaurant in Hawthorne is a cute little Spanish place with good food. Also, La Cibeles in Lyndhurst is good and probably a little more formal.
Hi Marlena! Can you believe how close we are? Crazy. My family is a big fan of La Cibeles in Lyndhurst. My parents moved to Florida a few years ago, they only come up 2 times a year for a few days at a time, and this is one of the 'must-have' restaurants. We're always looking for new restaurants, I'll have to watch this thread! Hope you're doing well
La Cibeles in Lyndhurst closed....no notice. My grandparents were there one night and went to go back a week later and they were closed. Very sad. They were so good.
There are a bunch of great places in Newark ... Fernandes, Sol-Mar, Chateau of Spain, Taste of Portugal (get the "steak on a stone" - mmm!). Iberia is supposed to be good, too. Also, Restaurant Valencia in Elizabeth. Some of those places are Portuguese, so does that make a difference?
Iberia is DELISH!!! (portuguese) We had our rehearsal dinner at Vila Verde in Wayne - it was unbelievably good and the service was perfect (its portuguese as well)
