Small wedding/reception venue recommendations anyone?

I'm getting married in Omaha...it will be a small wedding (100-ish).  I would love to have an intimate wedding and reception at the same location.  Working on a budget so don't need anything fancy.  Any recommendations?  Also, has anyone had any experience with Karen's Fireside in Papillion?

We're having our ceremony at Jackson Artworks in the Old Market. We're planning on having about 200 guests but I know that my wedding planner is planning a wedding a week or two after us that is having both the ceremony and the reception at the Art Gallery. It's really unique and interesting. My FI and I are both Structural Engineers so we really loved the exposed beams and pipes, but the whole old market area is so cute. They have a website: www.jacksonartworks.com. HTH!! :) Good Luck!

the magnolia hotel offers an outdoor ceremony site and indoor reception site. the site is just right for 100 or less. it is downtown and they offer good deals for weddings. worth checking out.

What about Fontenelle? I went to a pretty small wedding there, and loved it. It was one of the first places we looked at, but was way too small for our number of guests. I think they're pretty reasonable, too. Magnolia is beautiful, but very pricey. Even doing a Friday wedding is spendy. I believe Bandstand's website has a list of most of the wedding/reception venues in the Omaha area.

I am getting married in December at Joslyn Castle.  The ceremony is in the music room that only seats about 100 people inside.  If you are having an outside ceremony there will be more room.  In addition Friday night is a lower rate. We chose December because the decorate the castle for the holiday season so we had our theme and no extra $ needed for decor. You have to chose their select cateriers but you can use Cornhusker Beverage for drinks which really where we save the most $.

I LOVE the Dc Centre. We are having our reception there in Oct and they have been excellent to work with. Yes Fridays are alot cheaper. That is where we saved a nice chunk of change.

Ive heard good things about Karens Fireside. We're having ours at Arbor Hall off 140th and Center. We also looked at A Merry Ocassion. they are fairly small and affordable.

I went to a reception a couple years ago at Karen's Fireside. It was very nice!! Great food too!! We looked at Erin Court and I know you can have both the ceremony and reception there! It looked really nice too, but it wasn't big enough for us.

Erins Court does weddings and receptions. Bel Air Banquet Room is a cozy place for 100 people and they do the catering and bar on sight. Not sure if you can get married there too, you'd have to ask. They're the cheapest in town that I found.
