Programs?

Are you having them? What are you including in them?I'm trying to DIY them, but I'm just not satisfied with what I've got so far.  If you have a pic of yours, I'd love to see them. Thanks!

So I got too lazy and paid a lady from Etsy to do my programs, seating cards and table numbers. Came out to like $400 for the whole thing. If you can do it yourself and want to spend all that time cutting, you totally should! I am way to picky so when I got them back, I had to make a bunch of adjustments. We had 140 people and had 120 programs. We used about 100. I don't know how REALLY necessary they are but if I was to do them over, I would make them a little more personal. I would have written about the relationships in the wedding party, why we chose certain readings, the meanings behind songs played. I just feel like it really brings the guests into your life and makes them feel that much more apart of it. My were very generic. Names of bridal parties, order of the ceremony, the two reading titles and then a little note to our parents and In Memoriam. Super bland. Hope that helps!

I was thinking about ordering this handmade paper from LCI Paper Company, and making scrolls tied with ribbon... but we'll see. I'm now leaning toward not doing anything at all. At this point, I think I'd rather save the $80 it would cost me to make them. Here's the link to the paper, in case you're interested. I'm planning on making my own. A girl from the July 2010 board inspired me and I'm totally using this idea: http://www.ayleebits.com/2006/06/10/diy-fan-programs/

I decided to be lazy and not do them but then FMIL decided to do it, sweet! She designed them, is printing them- everything. so honestly I'm not exactly sure what they look like :) They list the order of events, BP names and a little thank you for attending on the bottom.
