Because I'm bored I thought it mind be a good idea to find out how some of you met your fiance. I'll start! We were fixed up by our best friends about 6 years ago. I was not into the being fixed up at first but decided to go for it. When I first met him I thought he was cute but not my type at all. He obviously thought the same because I did not hear from him. Fast forward to 2 year after our best friends got married! We end up at the wedding and there was a spark. At first it was weird since neither of us had called the other one after our first date. We got over that quick though. He asked for my number and he called the very next day. We've been inseperable ever since. I guess you dont alway hit it off rigjht away. Our second time around everything was perfect.

Myspace. LOL. I remember vividly being bored on a Sunday night, while watching Greys Anatomy and Desperate Housewives (when they were still on the same night) and i was browsing local profiles, and i found Josh's, and i sent him a message saying, i really like the bands you're into or someething lame like that. This was in November.. We chatted back and forth. In December he invited me to a party he was having, I didnt go. New Years Eve, he invited me to another party but i got drunk and threw up by 10pm, DUH! We kind of stopped talking for a while and then in January I remember trying to instigate people online and posted some bulletin about the Longhorns v USC fan (im not even a college football fan, lol) and Josh sent me a response and we started chatting again. He worked until 10pm, and i worked at 5 am, but i used to stay up waiting for him to sign on AIM and would fall asleep with my head in my computer from trying to force myself to talk to him. He asked me on a date, Feb 2nd 2006, we went to see When a Stranger Calls (i HATE scary movies) and he was the one who jumped in it. The next day we had another date at a museum, that night i met all of his friends and its been all downhill (sometimes uphill lol) from there. Here we are 4 years later, with our surprise 2 yr old planning our wedding <3Wow typing that all out reminds you of how long 4 years ago could feel and got me all cheesy

LOL I love your stories! Meghan, I can't WAIT to meet you. You're a crackup! Tony and I also met online. It wasn't a dating site, but more like a chat room with web cams. He made some joke about porn stars, and I made some crack about growing up in the porn capital of the world (Chatsworth) and it turned out he lived in Chatsworth. I mean, there were people from all over the world in this chatroom, and we end up striking a conversation with each other living a less than 8 miles apart!

I'm another online story. And again, not your typical dating site. It was Craigslist. I do a lot on Craigslist - find jobs, apartments, and concert tickets. I never expected to meet my future husband. In fact, I used to just read the personals and laugh out loud because they were so funny and psycho. It was a Saturday night, I just got home from a concert and I was bored. I started reading the ads and there was this one ad that spoke to me. I, who usually overthinks everything, just hit reply and wrote him a message. He replied the next day and here we are four years later...

Church choir 1995. I sung(still do sing) soprano, he was in the bass section, even though he is technically a baritone. He offered me a coke between services on Easter Sunday. We started talking, we found out we liked the same books, movies, music, and we were both cat lovers. Went from friends to best friends to boyfriend and girlfriend, then he had to move away for work and we have been long distance for a really long time but it has worked out since we are getting married.The funny thing is I keep finding out how much more we have in common. I love to decorate and I was looking over a furniture catalog, he came in looked over my shoulder and commented on how he liked dark woods right when I was figuring I would have to sell it to him. Sometimes a song will come up on the radio that I totally love(I don't say anything) and then all of a sudden he loves it too. We have a sentence completion thing going too. Sometimes I think of something and he will just say it. He will think of something and then I say it. It's kind of spooky.

FI and I met during my senior year of high school. He had graduated the year before and I set his twin brother (who I was already friends with) up on a blind date with one of my friends. FI and I went along as the double date. From that night through college, we were just good friends and then we started dating when we both moved back to our hometown after graduating college.

FI and I met at work, but not your typical work romance. His parents owned the company that I worked for. Seven years ago, I had my first interview with this company, I saw his pictures in the owners office and realized I had seen him before. Come to find out, that we went to high school together and I knew the name because he was a big football/baseball star. We finally met at my company's Christmas that year, but nothing came from it. He ended up working at another branch a couple of years later and we had to talk everyday. We became friends, he invited me and my friends to parties he was having over the years, etc. Still nothing happened because he was either with someone or I was. When we both found ourselves single at the same time, he asked me out on a date, and we have been inseparable ever since!

Mrs. V - I go to Los Torros often. I was just there last Friday with good friends. We def go for the margaritas! Phiaska - One time I was at Los Torros with a couple girlfriends and to make a long story short, we met this porn star there who's girlfriend had just dumped her so she spent half of the night chatting it up with us. She ended up paying for our margas and dinner. We didn't even get to thank her

but we appreciated it. I met FI through some cousins of mine and church. I kept hearing about this guy "Nick" from my mom and my aunt. They had met him because my cousin would bring him to family gatherings (always when I wasn't there) and they would tell me how cute and funny he is. I had just got out of a relationship and I was pretty much done with guys at the time. So time passes by and I was at our annual church Fiesta when I saw Nick. I quickly asked my cousin if he was single and she assured me he was but that I didn't want to date him. I kept my eye on him but never made a move. A few weeks passed by and I saw him at another church event and word must have got around that I though he was cute because he started talking to me and asked for my number. I though he was going to do the lame guy thing and not call for a few days but I received a text message that night and here we are, over a year later... engaged to be married

the funny thing is he says he asked my cousin a few years ago if she had any cute, single cousins and she said "yeah, my cousin nicole but you don't want to date her" thanks for all the stories ladies

FI and I meet on my college campus. He was there waiting for his brother and I was hanging out. He invited all of us to his fraternity party at his college - we went - I saw him but didn't speak. The following week he was back on my campus and asked me out. Since then we have been together - almost 16 years!

Meghan- Yeah, it was so much fun. But I don't want to give the wrong idea. FI was assistant property master and I was just having fun doing some extra work while I was on summer break from teaching. Neither of us work there anymore as I don't do it anymore and Fi moved on to other shows. But heck yeah! It was loads of fun and awesome to be there on set! I love Grey's too!

We are high school sweethearts! we got together right on time for grad night! So crazy because we have had classes together ever since 7th grade!!! and we didnt meet till our senior year...how crazy is that?! So our little high school love went down for 8 months, we broke up for a year and half then while hanging out with mutual friends during the summer we started talking again and have been inseperable ever since. He proposed Aug. of 2007 and now getting married Jan of 2009!

I love everyones stories! Fi and I met in the bar of a bowling alley! (Classy right?)We were both there for a charity bowling fundraiser and kept running into each other, smiling, flirting, etc. After a failed attempt to buy me a drink, I worked up the nerve to go talk to him and offered to buy him one. We ended up talking for another two hours in the parking lot and went on our first date a few days later.

I took a class in college with a few of FI's friends whom I became friends with. The final exam for the class was pretty much a big party and FI was there. No one introduced us and I just assumed he was one of the guys brothers. Over the next 2 years, FI and I would be invited to the same parties, but parties he went to, I didn't and vice versa. Then we were finally introduced at the Anime Expo 2004 (Japanese animation). I was dressed in costume and he escorted me around the whole day. He got my number and called me the next night and we have been together ever since!

we met during the summer of '03 while working at the local movie theater. i wasn't interested at first because FI had this big bushy pony tail, but he grew on me after a couple of weeks. then everything happened so fast! he was kind enough to cut his hair at the end of the year

Los Torros is fun. They have good margaritas! Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show, love it! -I met my fiance at a college party. I wasn't going to go, but ended up going. We kept running into each other throughout the night. So at the end of the night I asked him for his number (something I had NEVER done before). He says that he was going to ask me for my number. I guess I beat him to the punch. After talking for a awhile, he walked me to my car and gave me a hug. I thought he was sweet and I liked his smile. Looking back at that night, I did something I would never had done. I guess it was meant to be!
