That I'm going to make my veil for the wedding instead of spending an arm & a leg on one.

Here is a pic of the fabric I am thinking about using. I'm just wondering if it will take to much away from my dress...

the back of my dress.. But my dress is in Claret red instead of the green, Im thinking like elbow length on the veil???


Front side of the fabric (it's sheer, just laying on my carpet) the skulls are gold and redish brown??? but i figured if the colored side is to much i can use the other side (pic below) and then it just looks silver


Ok so I need some opinons on this, Keep in Mind that my wedding is on halloween so I know what some of you were thinking at first lol :) but before I go out an get new fabric I thought I would see maybe what this would look like.

    I think the gold/red side is too much w/ how detailed the back of your dress is. I LOVE the silver side.  You have the skulls, but it's not screaming at you, it's more subtle.

    Thanks thats kind of what i was thinking, and I'm sure that im only doing a 1 teir veil so the colored side wouldnt be over laping the silver side (if that makes any sense, im still half asleep at the moment)

    I agree with Misty, do the silver; it'll add more sublety and not take away from the back of the dress :)
