the Farrington Manor feedback

Hello - I am looking for feedback on the Farrington Manor in East Brunswick, i recently looked at this site and it looks nice and is the best price we have come across. Has anyone gone to a wedding there or had their wedding there - I appreciate your feedback.

My sister had her bat mitzvah there years ago and one of my childhood friends brother was married there two years ago. My friend RAVED about everything how the food and service was spectacular. Another one of my friends recently said the best food he ever had at a wedding was at FM.. I actually looked at it for my wedding but I wanted separate ceremony and reception locations just in case the weather didn't cooperate. I ended up getting married at Bridgewater Manor. have you looked there? Also FABULOUS

We looked there and have also been to a wedding there previously - the outside area is spectacular but to me, the inside is horrendous - I think its very outdated and 80's ish (IMO) ...but they do offer an over abundance of food that is really good...the owner is this old italian guy who cooks EVERYTHING himself - you can't beat the price

Thanks for the feedback, i really had my heart set on a beach side reception but am coming to find that it is super expensive, so we are expanding to lake views and golf clubs which also have a pretty backdrop for a wedding. I am happy to hear the food was good b/c that was one of my concerns. I do think the room looks outdated but i think that maybe there are elements I could add such as chair covers, changing the center peices and maybe hanging some drop lanterns from the ceiling. the price is extremely appealing. thanks again for your feedback.

My Junior Prom was there.  The food was good from what I remember.  I don't remember the outside by the gazebo being that nice, but it was raining and muddy.

My brother was married there 2 years ago and a friend about 4. They had no complaints. The service was good and everything ran smoothly. I do believe they have a new owner now though.

We're getting married at Farrington on May 29th and couldn't be more excited.  We're getting a great deal and are being married onsite.  We're doing buffet and the amount of food is awesome AND the tasting was great too.  My fiance loved the food so much - and he's picky!  While the outside if far nicer than the inside, I think it will look nice for a wedding and that I can add some nice touched inside.  We're having an afternoon wedding and are hoping for nice weather.Plus, the bride can get ready in their bridal house... which I thought to be rather nice.  We're so so so excited :)
