is anyone planning on doing boudoir pics?

I bought a groupon package for boudior pics for 19 bucks. I was not planning on doing them but it was a steal at 96% off. I am a plus size girl so I was a little nervous and self concious about doing them but I am going to give it a try. Is anyone else planning on doing a boudior shoot?

I am doing them, but on my own. I'm not comfortable or open enough to have someone else take pictures of me like that and I really don't think FI would like someone taking them either.

I've read a few blogs on how girls were able to do it themselves so I am just going to follow those and hopefully they will come out decent enough. If not, thank God for photoshop!!

I just did them this passed weekend. I also had a groupon for $20 at Glamour Shots. They are so expensive. I just got what they offered in the groupon which was a 5x7 frame with two photos in them.

I've done them before. Don't be nervous the photographer will only go as far as you want. Its very empowering and a confidence booster! I'll post a little more later, phone dying.

Nope. i am not confortable doing them at all from body image to worrying about them falling into the wrong hands to getting pretty much naked in front of a stranger.

I bought a wedding channel deal that includes a bunch of digital pictures. I plan to do the shoot when my FI is at his bachelor party in Sept. I don't think I will get too crazy because I'm really shy, but I'm looking forward to giving him a sexy picture before our wedding!

Hellz no. Way to modest, also worrying about them turning up in inappropriate places or being found by... well... anyone. But mostly the modest thing, there's no way I'd even consider it.

I am thinking about it. I got the name of the person a friend used and loved but her prices are a little high so I want to wait and see if we can squeeze it into the budget. This past year I lost a lot of weight and FI just had the same surgery I did, if I don't do them pre-wedding we talked about doing a session together for Xmas or V-day next year :-)

I am plus size too...and I just am too nervous to get in front of someone almost butt naked. Plus, I dont think my rolls are going to make it a very "sexy" picture. LOL I am sure they can touch up...but just would be very nervous they wouldnt turn out right and I would be depressed. Maybe I will try to do them myself like a PP said.

we were gong to do it as a bacherlorette party with my maid of honor and bridesmaid... with my FI cousin since she is a photographer...
her prices are quite crazy...

but we cancelled considering it has been 2 months and I still haven't gotten the photos from our FAMILY photo shoot. ARGH!

I don't think I would ever be comfortable enough to do them. FI might be upset that someone saw me in next to nothing, though he might enjoy looking at them. Maybe as an anniversary present, we shall see.

I thought about it, and still am tossing it around. Like the PP's though, I'm not sure I would feel comfortable piosing in front of someone - especially if it wasn't my FI. I read a few blogs on how to do it yourself, and might end up trying to do it, or save something like this for an anniversary present down the road (maybe after I've lost some weight and am more comfortable).

I had intentions of doing it as a SUPRISE for FI. However when we met with our photographer he flat out asked in front of FI if I wanted to do one, FI ansewerd for me.... so there went the surprise. However, FI will probably forget about it and be surprised anyhow.

I am a little nervous about it, especially since out photographer is very good friends with FI, I offered to go to another photographer because I don't want either of them to feel odd about it but apparently they dont, and well Grant is amazing at what he does.

I still need to set a date (hopefully after dropping a little more weight), I also have no idea what to wear/if I should bring anything with me. :S. I also have ropped a BM into coming with me just for the comfort level.

I loved the idea of boudoir photos for my fiance for a wedding gift. I am a very modest person and it is completely out of character for me to do these, so he won't expect it. We have also made a personal decision not to be intimate throughout our engagement so that our wedding night will be extra special. So boudoir pics are a perfect gift for him to get the day of the wedding! As a plus size woman I was very nervous about this and how the pictures would turn out. I bought two beautiful nighties...not slutty lingerie or anything that I would be uncomfortable in. It's AMAZING what camera angles and an experienced photographer can do. You don't get naked if you don't want to. I certainly won't. I feel totally comfortable with my photographer, and my fiance adores me and my body, regardless of how I feel about it. I know that the pictures will be beautiful and it will be something that is fun for him as well. Go for it! I don't think you will regret it

I'm still on the fence because a) most of the places I've found around me are expensive, and b) I'm not sure how my FI would feel about a man seeing me mostly naked. So far the least expensive options are all men...

Debating it. I keep going back and forth but not sure if I will actually do it. I guess as we get closer to the wedding I will decide if I will or not.

You should do it! I just had mine done here by a professional in Dallas at Sweet Love Studios and it was a once in a lifetime experience! They made me feel super sexy and confident and my hubs loved them. He keeps telling me how much he loved his anniversary present and how he can't believe I did that for him.
