Reception dress??

I originally wasn't planning on changing dresses.  We changed our transportation plans, and now we're leaving the reception in our car.  I'm afraid it will be a task to get the dress in the car, so I am now thinking I could change right before we leave.  Plus we are leaving for the honeymoon the next morning, and this way I can give my wedding dress to my mom to take home. 

Can some of you show me your reception dress?  Or give me a clue on what kind of dress would be appropriate?

    Ooo you know I was thinking about this too!  I was thinking of something a little more flowy and long(maxi dressish) or something knee length and playful.  I'm interested in seeing if anyone else is going that route too!

    I have thought the same thing - my mom is making my dress, it is white ireidescent (sp) with a red insert slit (sorry hard to explain).  I decided to have her make the same dress only in the red color of the insert for the reception.  

    I'm so excited about this as red is my favorite color!  the reception dress is going to be the same pattern only tea length rather than floor length.

    I am changing as well. I haven't said yes to a dress yet, but know I am going to change into something knee length for the reception as I am having an early wedding

    yes! me!! I want a semi formal dress for the cereony and a "playful dress for the reception! I gotta move on the dance floor!!!
