Wedding Album included?

Hi ladies, I'm new in posting to this board (but excited to be here!). Did you order your wedding album through the photographer or print it elsewhere? I want a professional-type album and was wondering if anyone knows any good sites that they've had experience with? I saw a really nice company on stylemepretty (I think) but can't seem to find that post anywhere! We're going with Shawn Starr for photography... *marisa

    I would definitley DIY it, I know that photog's mark up the price of the albums a ton. If you have all your pics then it is easy to just make your own!

    Take a look at shutterfly.com and mypublisher.com . I wouldn't pay the photographers' mark-up for the album, esp. since I want one for me, and one for each of three sets of parents (mine are divorced).

    Here's the company I was planning on using.  I haven't actually tried them yet, but the reviews I saw on them were good.  I was looking for the thick album pages similar to the professional ones...it is more expensive, but I think this is a great price compared to the ones you get through the pros :)[url]<a href="http://somersetalbums.com/index.asp" rel='nofollow'>http://somersetalbums.com/index.asp</a>[/url]

    Im a wedding photographer in Kansas, and I use http://www.albumsunlimited.com/ These are the type of albums that most wedding photographers use, and they are expensive for anyone to print, but they are really nice!

    Hey Marisa,I think a lot of brides DIY their albums b/c the price is so much cheaper.  I recently ordered an album through Apple iPhoto & it came out really well.  My photographer from my hometown "day after" pics recommended Mpix.com.  I have also heard a few knotties mention blurb.com and shutterfly.com.HTH!!

    I used Snapfish.com, and love our book!  We've received lots of compliments on it.  The photog's book would have been about $550.  Sure, it would probably have been a bit nicer, but I think this is plenty nice, and cost us $85.

    We're a photo studio and use www.leuxo.com. I know they sell to brides directly so take a look. They are a lot more expensive than Blurb, but the quality is also different - instead of paper based books from Blurb, they do leather bound premium albums.
