Need help - creative!

Good Morning Lovely Brides To Be!I am having a fall wedding right on the beach and am trying to think of creative ways to incorporate fall into my beach wedding. As the placecards, I am having starfish cookies, my favors are starfish wine bottle toppers, etc. My bridal party is in navy blue (so I can do really gorgeous in season flowers like rusted orange, deep golds, etc). The centerpieces (undecided) but I am thinking nice in season flowers with some sea glass in multi color spread around the flowers. For the ceremony, I want starfish to line the aisle with something fall-like. I was thinking mini pumpkins but my FI nixed that. Any ideas, suggestions??? Sorry for the rambling post.

Maybe do votive candles lining the aisle, but have the votives be in fall colors like orange and red. Even if you can't have open flame, you can use the fake tea lights. I think the pumpkins might be a little strange, especially in direct contrast with the starfish.

what about fake leaves lining the aisle when you come in? you can get fake ones from michaels! or you could even have the flower girls drop that instead of pedals to try something different! hth!

getting married on the beach is great. how about pewter color latterns to line the aisle? Pumpkins or leaves do not belong on the beach.

Love the votives and love the idea of flower girls dropping leaves!!! We are going to do beachy centerpieces and forgo flowers all together. We're probably going to do tall vases with sand in them, a few shells scattered throughout (or just on the top, we'll see how it looks) and then a big pillar candle in the middle. We are going to put votive or tealight candles around the vase. You can get various sand colors at Michael's. Maybe in fall colors? You can also do the flowergirl(s)' dresses in whatever color you like and have them wear a wreath on their heads with fall leaves. I had my flower girl and "ring girl" (self-titled by my then 5 year old cousin) in white dresses with sash belts. We sewed pretty fake roses onto the belt part of the sash. You could do the same with fall leaves and fabric star fish or fabric shells (or just do one or the other). If I can find a photo of the girls at the wedding, I'll post it for you. Good luck, Sandey

Sometimes you can just copy and paste a photo from the web. Other times you need to right click the picture and go to properties. Copy the URL address of the pic and then paste it into this code:[img*] url address [/img*]But take out the *
