florist

How far out do you typically have your meeting with the florist? We already met with one and decided to use her but we need to meet again to go over color and flower selections.

At our initial meeting we went over colors and ideas and our whole plan.  We met with her again about 2 months out to see a sample centerpiece and finalize everything else.  I think if you get in touch with them and ask them how they typically work, you can get a good idea of when you should meet with them again to go over details.  This way you will get an idea of what flowers are in season and the overall look of everything.

We didn't meat to go over everything with ours until about a month and a half out, but we also didn't have a large/complex order.

I met with mine originally like 10 months prior, and then we met again a month ahead of time to finalize some details.  The florist should be more than willing to do another meeting with you to go over the details. The only bad part is you won't be able to get a quote before you book her and put a deposit down.

We originally met with our and booked them about 3.5 months out I think. Then we had a final meeting to finalize all details at 3 weeks out. Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing.
