I wanted to make sure you were clear on why some of us responded the way we did to the wedding planner post from Z something or other. She actually CAN'T post that she is a wedding planner and solicit her services. No one that is a vendor - even if they are a bride or not - can post about their services. There was a photographer on another board who was a previous bride and she NEVER posted about her photography services, she just happened to be a photog and bride and she also had provided services to other knotties. Again - she NEVER posted about this. The knot gods found out and banned her permanently. Also, by not following the posted rules for the knot, it is unfair to other knotties who abide by the rules and don't post their services. I know that there are some current/previous brides who have side businesses or it's their full time job to provide wedding services and they don't solicit.

Hi Molly Jean!  I wondered where our fearful leader had disappeared too.  Glad to see you're still around :)

Girls, I didn't mean to rock the boat and I now understand. Basically, if she would have said she was using such-n-such services and here's the website, check them out, and did not specifically stated that it was herself she would have been okay? I understand that it is a fine line and I'm sure Ziasss didn't mean to post as a vendor, but just as a bride trying to help others. I just felt that she was being "attacked" when I now think you guys were just trying to "warn". Sorry :/

Correct. No problem, we were just trying to warn her.
