Mid-October/November Brides

What are you wearing to your rehearsal? I've been keeping an eye out for months and I haven't found anything that I like. I figure by early November it will be too cold to wear strapless, and I haven't been able to find anything that's dressy and cute without looking like something that I would wear to work or something that my mom might wear. I wish that I could just wear a cute white sundress and call it a day!

I'm wearing a purple/fuschia satin short-sleeved dress. I think the color is a bit summery but the fabric is suitable for the fall. Our rehearsal is 10/16 so I think it still could be fairly warm. Unfortunately I could not get the link to work! http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtmlitemId=prod80800010&ecid=NMECITEM2FRIEND

I found a cute dress at Urban Outfitters. It's a little sundress and I found a short sleeved gray button up sweater (from American Eagle) to wear over it, in case it's chilly. dress - http://tinyurl.com/lm449rWe're having our RD at a BBQ restaurant, so I would usually wear jeans and tshirt - but, since it's our RD, what better excuse to get a cute dress?

I have been looking for a dress this week for my 10/16 RD.  Macy's has a lot of dresses out.  I am thinking I might wear something with spaghetti straps or similar with a little cardigan over it.  I'm trying to stay in the fall color palette.

I got married last October (10/31) and wore a dress with thick straps and a short-sleeved cardigan over it.  Sweater dresses are really big this year and I think there are some really cute and reasonably priced ones out there.  You could pick up one in a great jewel-tone and if it's terribly cold the night of your RD, pair it with tights.  If it's a bit warmer, go bare-legged.

Sounds like thin straps and a sweater/cardigan might be the way to go!  FIA- I've seen some cute sweater dresses in the Victoria's Secret catalog, but I don't think that I could pull those off without getting all sorts of grief from my bridesmaids re- the 80s.  Lol.
