Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

While we are on the subject...

...of after parties (I really wish I was having one now BTW), are any of the places suggested a good place to do a Bachelorette party?  I really want a laid back place--just somewhere we can meet, have some food, maybe even a private room where we can have a lingerie shower.  I do not want to get drunk, club, see any male strippers, etc.--I want to meet at the Library at the Melrose for a cocktail or two, then go somewhere for dinner, gifts, etc.  I also thought about just having it in my room at the Melrose but I'd kind of like to go somewhere else, even if it's just dinner.  So the Uptown/75 area would be good.

I can't help with Dallas but was wondering if there were any fun spots to go to in Fort Worth that is 18+ or if it would be better to party in a hotel room with like the BP and some friends? Sorry if I hi-jack your post but I don't want to make another thread about it lolMagic Time Machine in Addison is a unique experience. Not as good as it was years ago but still a fun family friendly unique place. Addison has some other cool restaurants that are unique as well like BlackFinn

stephie, Cork Wine Bar near West Village has a private rear area where you can host a lingerie shower.  Grimaldi's is next door, you can either eat there, or have them "deliver" and setup at Cork Wine Bar.If you like sushi, I think Kenichi will let you do their upstairs area as a private party.  They have good cocktails (and food!)

Donna, great minds and all that!  I looked up Corkd buit their website is down until Monday.  Grimaldi's is my favorite pizza place in the world but it's small, but that's a good idea.  I love sushi and have never been to Kenichi--I need to go before it closes like everything else down there.
