Alcohol Prices

My venue is requiring us to use their beverage service. My wedding is on a Sunday evening so I dont anticipate people drinking as much as they would on a Saturday but the venue wants to charge $10/person for the first hour and $7/person for each additional hour with a 4 hour minimum. That is a minimum of $31/person PLUS 4 bar tenders at $25/hr. Brining my alcohol bill for 200 ppl to $33/person on a sunday night! This seems excessive but i am having trouble comparing it to other venues. Anyone out there have some comprable numbers for me so i can go in armed and ready to negotiate?

    My venue has a different setup where I pay 30% of any food/beverage (included alcohol), since I'm paying a fee to rent their actual venue. I'm going to do a per consumption bar with my reception venue. Maybe you can work out a per consumption bar instead?
