Hischiquita (In answer to your question)

I didn't know this until I looked it up for you, but apparently the cake is made of powdered almonds, plain yogurt, and traditional ingredients like brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, etc.. the chocolate on top is actually a candy called Daim. It consists of crunchy chunks of caramel covered in chocolate (hence the texture in the pic.) DH and I actually met through his music. I was a fan of his band all the way out in the IE and he found me online when he was randomly searching his band's name. He messaged me just to say hi, but our conversation ended up continuing for 6 months. We then met when he was vacationing in Ca, and have been together ever since :) We did the long distance thing, taking turns traveling, for over a year before I decided to make the move. It wasn't so hard since I had him, his family, and a few friends I made throughout my visits; but if the situation was different I'm sure it would've been hard! What also saves me, is that I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel home every couple of months and see my family!
