Flower Girl gifts

I am on the hunt for a gift to give my 2 little flower girls. They are both 5 yrs old. I was thinking maybe cute charm bracelets or something. Any suggestions?? Ps. Congratulations brides-to-be!

I always suggest for kids a 2 part gift something for now and something they will always have. I suggest this due to the crystal candydish I still have from being a fg in my aunts wedding some 25 years ago. She at the time gave me and my sister each a transformer and a candydish. ( ok sadly i remember that it was optimus prime) Transformer is long gone but I am still happy to have the adult candy dish. So how about somethng likepearls or a candy dish and a doll?

We're giving our girls an initial bracelet, but we're also giving them each a toy. For the younger one (my 4yo cousin), we bought her the sparkle Barbie Bride and Ken Groom. For the older girl (my BM's 10yo daughter), we bought her a craft kit and the Flower Girl outfit from American Girl.

I'm going to give my flower girl an initial gift of a keepsake book, she's 6, turning 7. I just ordered it, and I hope it comes in soon, because that will be my "official" way of asking her. She already is very excited. The book is supposed to have lots of pictures and reasons why the flower girl is so important, etc. just to make her feel extra special. I'm not sure how suited it is for a 5-yr old now, but I'm sure she'll appreciate it as she gets older. Not sure what my thank-you gift will be at the rehearsal dinner yet.

I will give my flower girl a bride doll and a silver locket with engraved with her monogram. So she has something she'll like now and something she can keep and enjoy for years.

Think about the bracelets if you want the girls to have them for years. I received a bracelet when I was a FG 25 years ago and it hasn't fit in many years.

I am going to get my flower girls engraved jewelry boxes, and after reading the posts, I think I am going to throw in a doll (or something else for now)!

sorry i'm late on this! i ordered my flowergirls (4 yrs old) personalized piggy banks from etsy. i just remember being a little girl and loving it when my grandfather would give me change to put in my piggy bank. and they can also be keepsakes
