Reception Venues

I live about halfway between Parkersburg and Wheeling, WV.  I am trying to find a nice reception venue in either of those towns that will be able to hold about 250-300 people.  I really love River City in Wheeling, but they only have a few Saturday openings left for next summer.  Any suggestions would be great!!

    Check out Oglebay or Wheeling Park. Ernies Esquire, Bethany College has a hotel there that does wedding receptions -- They are all in Wheeling

    Bethany is in Wellsburg which is about 20 minutes north of wheeling. Not sure if you wouls want your guests to have to travel that far depending on where you hold your wedding at.

    We got married at the Blennerhassett Hotel in Parkersburg. Carl, the venue coordinator, was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. I'm pretty sure the Charleston Ballroom can fit 250, but I think that might be their max though.
