Are my table numbers insulting you?

So ...FI & I thought it would be kinda cool to have our table numbers in Roman numerals. But of course, someone had to chime in on this. They said well, what if the guest doesn't know Roman numerals? Their intelligence will be insulted!I kind of stared.Even if the said guest isn't familiar with Roman numerals - THEIR PLACECARD WILL HAVE THE SAME NUMBER AS THEIR TABLE."Table IV" >>> "Mr. STFU - Table IV"... Why.

    ppl are morons. grr. ps - I saw in your bio your std's... I was very pleased with wedding paper divas, great quality!! They often have coupons online for 10% off, free shipping, etc. :)

    What I find the most mind-boggling is the audacity with which people just give their two cents - like they have a right, or they have been asked for their opinion! GNYAH / vent.I do love Wedding Paper Divas! I even picked a shower invitation from them before I realized I might not have one, lol. I was thinking for STDs, having them double as Christmas cards, since we might be sending them off early December. Is this tacky?

    I'm glad I'm not out of my mind for choosing Roman numerals! I wish I had a mute button for people sometimes ... ay.And thanks! I'm so paranoid that anything I choose might be tacky, snobby or whatever, that I'm seeing ghosts in my decisions. Blerby.

    OMG, people are soooo nosy and outspoken about the wrong things.  If someone takes offense at your holiday cards/STDs, give their invite to someone more deserving.And OMG, I can just see the cutest card in my head . . . The greatest gift we've ever received is our love for one another. May your heart receive a similar gift this holiday season. . . . A cute picture of you guys surrounded by gifts . . . . Save the Date . . . . ahhh  :)

    Personally, it took me about two minutes to stop laughing from your "Mr. STFU - Table IV" heheheLove the roman numerals - great idea - if they don't know them (do men have to keep up with them to watch the superbowl?!) - surely they can match! Maybe have a picture, or color diagram.... ;)One of the things I was told that I was doing was saying "what do you think of this...." when what I really meant was "This is what I'm doing, just wanted to tell you what my idea was, and I want you to listen." didn't know if maybe you were having the same issue with some of your stuff?GL!

    hahah "Mr. STFU" -- AWESOME. I LOVE Weddingpaperdivas! I ordered my invitations and matching escort cards from there. They came out great (just got 'em two days ago).     I think most of the older generation remember learning roman numerals.  If anything, it would probably be the younger folks.  Your wedding can also be educational.

    a little late but I like the roman number idea. It's your wedding its whatever u want, I've learned to ignore peoples advice especially when I havent even asked for it. lol

    sounds like whoever made that comment isn't too intelligent either. If people can't match the "pictures" then they aren't likely to notice their intelligence being insulted. Lol
