The Imperia Somerset NJ

I was wondering if anyone on these boards has had a reception at The Imperia recently?  I booked my wedding there for 2010 and am trying to find brides who can let me know how the service/food was?  preferrably someone who has had their reception there in the last 2 or 3 months because I've heard that a lot of the staff has been let go and was wondering how that would affect the quality of their events.  Thanks so much! :)

    I, personally, havent been to a reception there (yet). My reception will be there in October 2010 - in the downstairs room. However, two of my close friends, and 1 of my parents friends have been to 3 different weddings there in the past few months, and had nothing but raves! They said the service and the food were among the best that they have ever experienced. I dont have exact details, but figured i would share what i have heard!

    My reception is there next month!  We had a tasting at the end of July and the food was spectacular.  Send me an email - jules1325 at hotmail dot com - and I will flag it to follow up with you after.  :)

    I hadn't heard this, but my initial reaction the it's not that big of a deal. As long as the owners/management hasn't changed I'm sure they'll keep the same level of service when/if they replace the old staff. FWIW ~ my dad went to an event there last month and he said the service was great so I"m sure everything will be fine.

    I had my wedding there on August 21. It was awesome. The food was great and except for 1 bartender who was very rude. We had a blast. It rain the night of my wedding and I also had the down stair room. I never thought my cocktail hour would have to be moved in door, but it worked out fine. My cake was beautiful.Good luck I think you made a great choice

    Where do they have the cocktail hour if it rains and you can't have it on the patio?
