Sorry to stick you ladies with another shower q, but this is quick I promise!If someone is invited to the wedding but declines (they cannot attend for whatever reason) is it rude to still send them a shower invite? Also, does it make a difference if they are OOT or not?TIY

It's fine to invite someone to the shower who is invited but unable to attend the wedding. It makes a difference if they're far OOT and it's not family tradition to invite guests from that far away.

It doesn't matter if they are able to come or not, just that you invited them.

I don't think it's rude to invite them...but IMO, it would depend how far OOT they are. I didn't want anyone more than 1 hour away being invited to my shower - mostly because I didn't want them to feel guilty if they weren't able to make it, and even more, didn't want them to feel like they should send a gift. But, it might also depend on how close you are with said OOT guest.
