Transportation - Albany area

Hi - did some of the earlier posts from August get wiped out?? I remember seeing a thread about transportation recommendations. We are renting a trolley for the bridal party, but we need a bus/mini-bus to get guests from the hotel to the reception and home again. The quote I got from Adirondack was $900 and I thought I saw someone write that they found something cheaper. Thanks!

    We paid 525 and 625 for 47/52 passenger buses for 8hrs through Wade Tours.

    try northland transportation in scotia if you don't mind school buses. we're paying 475 for one 47 person bus to shuttle around saratoga to different hotels.

    Thanks for the replies. Am&pm09...that is a great rate. I just heard from them and the quote for 1 52 passenger is $1100! You got a great deal.

    Kind of related but---- can ANYONE point me in the right direction for renting a CLASSIC 57 Chevy for our big day??? No limosine service has anything classy----they're all Limo buses, and hummers and updated flashy. that's not what we are about--we're a couple of old souls.....

    Our wedding was just in August so we booked around this time in 2008 so perhaps their pricing has gone up since then - but double, I find that hard to believe.  We started with 3 buses (dropped to 2 one month out) so maybe thats how we got such a good rate.  GL.
